Do you have symptoms that are not bad enough to go to the doctor about, but are significant enough to impact your quality of life in terms of energy, stress levels and ability to cope? This programme is to help you identify which nutrients your body is lacking in order for all the body systems to work properly.
If you want to get to the root of the problem and uncover the underlying factors affecting your well-being, it has to begin with the building blocks of every single cell in your body: your food. In functional medicine, we look at body systems, not symptoms.
Your systems can only function if you give them the right nutrients, fresh air and clean water. Everything you put in your mouth will either benefit or be detrimental to various aspects of your health, there’s no middle ground.
If you don’t feel great, then your body is trying to tell you something. Functional Medicne can help you understand what that is.
Parents of Children with Autism or Additional Needs
This series of group coaching programmes has come about from feedback I have had with families of autistic children that I work with. As people see the results that optimal nutrition for autism can bring, they want to extend it to other members of their family. While these group coaching programmes are open to everyone, priority will be given to parents and care-givers. This decision has come about becasue the high levels of stress they are under increase the likelihood of long-term health problems yet at the same time, so much depends upon their ability to cope and remail healthy.
Broader Family Health
If one person in a family has autism, a lot of the focus may be on their needs, but there is no doubt that the wellbeing of the person with autism is very closely linked to the physical and mental health of their immediate family members. It is also often the case that siblings and parents may be neurodivergent but unaware or undiagnosed and would therefore not be seeking specific help with that aspect of their health, yet may find unexpected benefits that personalied health programme can bring.
This also means that places can fill up quickly on the programme as I have decided to limit it to 12 people/tests so that in the Group Coaching Q&A everyone has a chance to be heard. Whilst it is not the same as 1:1 coaching and I won’t be diving deep into each persons results, you will have the chance to ask questions so that I can help you create your own health strategy.

Week 1
Introduction to Functional Nutrition: How to use Food As Medicine
How to use Food As Medicine. Understanding what is meant by this phrase and how you can introduce money-saving tips and tricks to eat well at no extra cost.
Week 2
Metabolic Health and Your Energy Levels
Learn what’s happening behind-the-scenes if you have low energy. This test will show you if it is becasue you have not got the right nutrients in the first place, but this lesson will teach you what else could be triggering low energy and what to do about it.
Week 3
Stress & Nutrition: The Impact of Stress On Your Body
We may not be able to get rid of the stress in your life, but there are lots of ways to help your body and mind to cope with it. This lesson looks at the physioogical impact of stress on your body and the knock-on effects such as insomnia, recurrent illness and ‘feeling a hundred years older than you are’! Let’s look at the ‘quick wins’ that won’t take much thought or effort, but that could make a big difference to your ability to cope.
Week 4
Making Sense of Your Metabolic Health Test Results
As a group we will devise a Health Strategy that you can implement going forward according to your own test results.
You should have your lab results back by week 4, but if there is a delay, you will be invited to join another group session instead.
